Change to Services at Clarkson Community Church December 2021

Changes to services at Clarkson Community Church

Dear Clarkson Church Family

Given the changes and announcements of the past week, we wanted to let you know about changes to our upcoming services. We have made these decisions out of a desire to exercise caution, follow the expectations of similar businesses, and care for the most vulnerable among us.

This Sunday, December 19, we recommend that you participate in our online service, which you can find on our website or Facebook page. We know this is short notice, so for those who are alone, struggling, or need to be with someone, we invite you to watch the online service with us at the church building at 10 am.

Our Christmas Eve service will now be an online service at 5 pm on December 24. We have made this decision early as we had not planned to pre-record the service but will now have the videos to the editor by Sunday afternoon in order to be ready for Christmas Eve.

Our December 26 service was already planned to be online-only and will continue as planned.

Our January 2 service will also be online-only in order to simplify the decision-making over the Christmas break.

It is our hope that we will return to in-person services in January in order to be able to worship and celebrate together as a church family. We will have more information as circumstances allow.

We know that this is a difficult time and that these sudden changes to our COViD reality feel heavy on our hearts. Please feel free to reach out to any of our staff or elders if you need someone to talk to, pray with, or are in need of additional support. We believe that God is with us and that he invites us to lean on each other in our times of need.

Peace,

Jamie.
